Strawberries

Strawberries have become the most popular berry within our current range. We supply several varieties of strawberries to our customer base. Elsanta is a very firm berry, with a good flavour and a strong aroma. This variety is extremely suited to growers and the supply chain due to its long shelf life. The Elsanta is suitable for both glasshouse production and outdoor crops. Lambada is also a variety which originates from Holland, which has a full strawberry aroma and a fantastic taste. Because of the taste, the beautiful colour and uniform size, Lambada is not only a magnificent strawberry to eat, but also great for catering.

Raspberries

Raspberries are also very popular with our customers, and the varieties grown today offer excellent flavour and sweetness. Some people believe that raspberries are expensive, but you will see in the shops that prices are more reasonable now. We have availability all year round from our suppliers in both Northern and Southern hemispheres.

Blueberries

Blueberries have enjoyed fantastic publicity over recent years, thanks to their proven health benefits. VitalBerry BV have been supplying blueberries since the company started, developing strong relationships with a range of sources all over the world to ensure the quality and availability that we now see throughout the year on our supermarket customers' shelves. Due to the fact that blueberry plants have very specific environmental requirements and take many years to mature to fully productive plants, VitalBerry BV has had to work closely with specialist blueberry growers and suppliers in Chile, Argentina, and many countries within Europe with the wealth of knowledge in breeding, growing, packing, shipping and marketing to achieve this.

Blackberries

Blackberries have also shown rapid growth in popularity over the last few years. The variety produced during the Dutch summer season is Lochness, a full flavoured, large fruiting variety. The rapid growth has been especially true during the winter months where we have a strong grower base in the highlands of Mexico. The unique climate in this region combined with a specific variety, Tupi; which thrives under these conditions, has allowed the production of high quality, great tasting berries between November and May. Together with our super Lochness variety during the summer season, we can supply blackberries all year round.

Organic berries

Our organic soft fruit is grown to the tightest organic standards without the use of artificial pesticides or fertilisers, and with due care for the environment. All our suppliers are inspected yearly in every country to ensure that these standards are maintained.

Strasberries

Strasberries have the genetic make-up of a strawberry, but their small size and deeply positioned seeds give the appearance of a strawberry-raspberry hybrid. Originally a wild strawberry species, the berry was on the verge of extinction before a Dutch grower rediscovered it seven years ago.
